Tom hanks has the reputation of being the nicest actor in Hollywood, but in a new BBC interview, Hanks made the surprising admission that even he sometimes indulges in rude behavior

everyones a jerk at some point, everybody has bad days. we need to accept that instead of insisting on perfection

Yeah, it's only when someone is always a jerk that it's an issue.

yeah i agree.

i think he's genuinely known for being a good guy now but i do think it's interesting that he spoke a bit about this changing over time and becoming more aware as he got older. i don't think i was ever a rude millennial brat in the workforce as stereotypes may go, but i also think i am way more patient and comfortable with being wrong at my current age, so that probably makes me a less uptight colleague.

i also think it's really interesting to imagine myself in workplace situations if that was a different movie set every few months? i have job hopped a bit and the dynamics are always different, but nothing to the extent of having a new boss, new coworkers, and a new culture every couple of months (assuming movies over a consistent tv schedule). i think i'd still try to be a collegial person and be nice to coworkers but i have to imagine some sets would SUCK lol. can't all be winners.
