I know a man who stopped dating younger and when I asked him why he said it was eventually it made him feel tired. Maybe Dominic is the same?

edit: I can kinda understand what my friend meant. There's an eight year gap between my partner and myself and even though we're the same generation there's still certain references, life experiences, etc I have that he either barely gets or not at all because he's younger. Fortunately we have more things in common than not so it works.

When you get older companionship and compatibility becomes more important than physical attributes; yes, sex is still important but at the end of the day you want someone that you can vibe with, and there's only so much great sex you can have before wanting something more. I think that's why my friend stopped dating younger because if it's slightly difficult for me at 8 years I can't imagine what it was like for him with 20+ year gaps. Being friends or mentors for younger people is okay but for romance you want someone that you don't have to explain everything to and who can meet you on your level.

My fiance is around a decade younger than me so we're in a weird age bracket where I get some of what hes talking about and other things...wtf. He watched Nickolodean growing up and when he asks me about a certain show I remind him "hunny i may look young but I was already in HS when that shit was on"
