Yes, it's crazy as hell, and each episode is self-contained, so some are better than others.

Skip the first episode. After that, the first two seasons are pretty great. I don't recommend binge watching however, as some of the episodes are emotionally heavy.

yes but x2 skip the first episode. I watched the series backwards starting at s3, and it was terrible to hit that premier and have to turn the show off in disgust lol.

I'm with honeebs, watch from the start as in season 1 episode 1.
This show is a journey that works best when you see how it evolved from the non Netflix seasons to now.
Yes the very first ep is a lot, but at least for me it does put some of the later ones in perspective in a very weird but interesting way.

Just go into it knowing a lot of shit is fucked up in pretty much every episode, even the ones that are not so bleak and even end on a somewhat happy note.
And maybe don't expect it to be bingeable.

10000% watch it but dont start with san junipero. never start with the best episode because it makes the rest seem not as good even tho they are brilliant in their own right.

someofthe episodes are incredibly bleak (okay most ofthem) some of them arent great telly but when tehy get it right its incredible.
