The Jared fans are taking this well. Apparently Amazon is low budget and crap compared to the CW where Jared is ‘Mr CW’ Jensen only got this as a handout from Eric Kripke and Jared is onto much better things like an appearance on Family Feud.

The tribal allegiances within the SPN fandom are beyond parody. J2M are all sitting pretty making bank off of various projects and endless con appearances, clearly all still like each other (occasional Jared meltdowns not withstanding lol), and yet to hear the fandom tell it you’d think it was Highlander and there can only be one*.

*from what I remember* someone asked what it was like to be friends with someone for so long while being colleagues or smth, and Jensen went 'well it was mainly contractual' and a lot of people laughed and some ppl booed, and then he played it off as a joke and gave some neat pr answer.

from what I know they did get along pretty well, but Jensen's always been more.. mature? and more professional, his nickname was one-take-jensen iirc. And Jared is uh, not that, he'd dick around during filming and ruin takes for jokes and jump on ppl and shit like that (costing everyone time and money). I think they were work friends, more situation than genuine connection, you know?

Jared in my experience (bearing in mind actors at cons are on best behaviour* so you have to take it with a pinch of salt) is way more chill than his outbursts on social media imply. My friends who work BTS at events have nothing but nice things to say. Which is hard to square with the social media shit sometimes… I overall get the sense that he’s “decent with some shit he ought to have worked on already” as opposed to the out and out brat he makes himself look like. And obviously he and Jensen went through something pretty unique together

They are bitter because Jensen should be dependent on Jared and not doing anything without Jared. The fact that he left him out of the prequel and has dared to move on without Jared is a big deep betrayal they can’t recover from. One claimed yesterday that Jensen broke their idea of friendship and trust and they are only now learning now to move forward. Lmao. The prequel wasn’t great but I found it had its moments. Loved Carlos.
