We should have more honest conversations about how prominent figures in entertainment use "representation" as a deflect from acknowledging serious issues of abuse and assault with their casts and sets.
This is the same vein of what Constance Wu opened up about.

But it also confirmed this has absolutely come up before in big public ways - Choe and his work have also been the subject of controversy. In June, a newly finished mural by Choe in New York City’s Bowery neighborhood was almost immediately tagged over, reportedly as protest against his alleged history of sexaul assault. - and that was 2017. So they all VERY MUCH knew.
