Going down that twitter thread made me realize that he's THAT dude who made 200 million from Facebook because he painted a mural in their office and got paid in stock. WTF.

But it also confirmed this has absolutely come up before in big public ways - Choe and his work have also been the subject of controversy. In June, a newly finished mural by Choe in New York City’s Bowery neighborhood was almost immediately tagged over, reportedly as protest against his alleged history of sexaul assault. - and that was 2017. So they all VERY MUCH knew.
