i enjoyed it but yeah it was a lot darker than i thought it would be based on the premise. and there's a fairly graphic sexual assault early on.

that was the part where i was like "k this isn't gonna be what i was expecting"...on one hand i loved how Elizabeth was written and there were enough quirky elements in the plot to keep me interested, but yeah also the obligatory Boy Did It Suck To Be A Woman Back Then, so it depends on your tolerance for that i guess
