Ted Lasso 3x6

Ted Lasso ep 6 is out on @AppleTV written by the brilliant Coach Beard himself @brendanhunting. No spoilers but judging by these pics, Roy, Beard & Ted have a frown off, Jamie and Roy perfect running in slow motion and Jamie shows Roy the first part of the YMCA dance. #tedlasso pic.twitter.com/8Q2tthNvOu

I loved all the Jamie and Roy scenes. It was so funny and cute, especially when Jamie taught Roy to ride a bike. They've come so far!

It was good to see Ted finally do some actual coaching instead of just being a motivational speaker this season. Like damn, took him long enough to do something about his team.

The whole team arguing what to do, in particular Dani wanting to see a single tulip and wanting Dutch food was great. It was good to see the team really hanging out and bonding.

The ep felt like it could have been from season one, I hope the rest of the season feels more like this.

I’m with Dani! Have Dutch food while you’re there!

I’ve never understood people who go on vacation and then want to eat food that’s exactly like where they live, but everything about the American themed Burger Barn made me laugh (and it’s more understandable for Ted to be interested in a place like that since he’s been living away from the United States for three years now).

tbh, it's actually really fun to go to American themed places overseas just to see what other cultures view as American.

And also one time I went to an American themed place in Belfast and they had Tex Mex fajitas on the menu and included a pronunciation guide for fajitas except the pronunciation guide was wrong and had them pronounced as fah-gee-tahs. lmfao

Stuff like that makes going to American themed places overseas 100% worth it, imo!

I was thinking more of people who go on vacation within the United States and then insist on eating at Olive Garden or Subway. It’s exactly the same menu and food as where they live so I don’t get the appeal. I always want to try local specialties and local restaurants when I travel. Even if I just go on a day trip, I’d rather try somewhere new or different.

Between the giant tower of onion rings and the separate menu for dipping sauces, that restaurant was hilarious! I can see how going to a place like that would be a laugh.

I went to an American themed bar in South Korea and it was full of cardboard cutouts of George Clooney and cowboy hats lol

I agree! Try the local food, you eat your regular everyday at home. Especially since they were there the one night. Although I did laugh at as a Frenchman I'd rather die lol.

I'll defend this choice since Ted has been clearly homesick. I lived in Korea and Vanuatu for a number of years, and if I visited a country with something I was craving from the US, I would usually indulge a bit haha. Still definitely prefer eating the local cuisine more.
