I'm not (that) mad about the lack of Lucy Knight, but only because they featured Mark Greene and they seemed to do one character per tv series.

Lucy’s death was so shocking
Romano’s too because it was unexpected, the elicopter coming back to finish the job, but I couldn’t stand him

It's been such a long time but that one stuck with me and I think about it every now and then.
I remember the first time I watched it, and there was an ad break right after where they played a song and that song is now forever connected to her death in my head as well.

I don’t really think dr greens death was shocking, Lucy’s was much more so. Not that I didn’t bawl my eyes out and still do when I listen to Israel Kaʻanoʻi Kamakawiwoʻoles cover of somewhere over the rainbow.

Lucy's death completely shocked me. I think I was at an age where I didn't really have much experience with prominent tv characters dying that way.

There was nothing shocking about Mark dying. It was a long plot line on the show. Should have picked Lucy, Gant or Pratt. Of course, picking Gant would have just highlighted how Shonda ripped of that death for George.

I will never stop banging on about how Grey's completely ripped off Gant's death.

holy shit, you just opened my eyes.

Okay so, short backstory, I started watching ER when I was 11 or 12, while it was around the end of the 3rd season (and fun fact, the first episode I watched was because I confused it with Chicago Hope), and I know this because it was the first or second episode where Anna dell'Amico appeared. I was never able to watch the first three seasons until I was in my mid 20s, and the show had just finished. And because it was so long after I even stopped watching GA (which I stopped watching after George died), I never made the connection between GA and ER (although I often would said that GA just ripped ER in their end of the season cliffhangers).

I'm legit staring at the screen with my jaw dropped.

the only thing that really shocked me with mark’s death is when they had carter reading the letter, and it ended with “mark died last night.” i gasped out loud just because i knew the next episode was his last one. that episode is so beautifully done and i sobbed but otherwise you know it’s coming. lucy’s death was out of nowhere.

The most shocking death to me on ER was Dr. Gant. I still think about sometimes how absolutely gutted and shocked I was whe the beeper when off.

I always associate Battlestar with ER. I was so shocked. Pre spoilers and we had to wait weekly. Mark was v sad...not shocking
