April 13, 2023 Just like The Oscars and their Emergency Stage Stormer Squad or whatever, CinemaCon is making sure no one is served legal papers on stage this year.
For those who don't know, CinemaCon is an annual convention of movie theatre owners trying to get us into the theaters yet again. Select footage -- and even entire upcoming movies -- are often shown to attendees -- This year, WB will be showing their ill-fated movie THE FLASH.
Last year, Olivia Wilde ("Don't Worry, Darling") was served child custody papers on stage during her presentation for the ill-fated film on behalf of ex-husband Jason Sudeikis ("Ted Lasso", The Iranian Yogurt is not the issue here salad dressing).
There will be guards around the stage perimeter and 'extra manpower in the wings'. The first row closest to the stages are reserved for the studios presenting at the time.
CinemaCon takes place from April 24th to the 27th.
