So they're keeping the logo/theme from the films? Am I too high or is this normal?

The logo is from the books originally so I imagine they'll keep that. The score however would be wild. They'll probably pull a Justice League where the new composer took elements from the original scores and revamped them.

i can't wait for this shit to kick off with hedwig's theme, the same fucking sets, and i'm just like what the fuck was the point of all this

Yeah...I thought that too. It's gonna be the same exact opening shot over the Privet Drive sign with Hedwig's theme playing too. (lol watch the show choose to start at Godric's Hollow 1981 so it can be different)

They're honestly going to have the toughest time topping any of it creatively. The movies had issues sure, but the sets, score, costumes, locations, props, creature effects, special effects, and/or makeup definitely weren't one of them. I can honestly see them just going back to Leavesden and filming in the original sets. Maybe Stuart Craig can get an Emmy since he was robbed of an Oscar Casting (mostly) was also top notch. How are they gonna top Maggie Smith and Robbie Coltrane?

I don't see the point either. It's too early. The movies still air constantly on tv and are still quite loved. And then you have the theme parks still around. Are you just going to adjust the rides/look to match the show? Erase DanRad's face from everything and replace it with the new Harry?!?

your last point i think is key here. i feel bad for the poor kid who's gonna get cast as harry because just having the shadow of daniel radcliffe following you your entire life. good luck buddy
