While sequel creep has overtaken the modern movie landscape, it’s not like they are some new invention. They made six Thin Man movies between 1934 and 1947, after all. There is also the prequel, which has become more common but less ubiquitous

Doesn't necessarily has to be a prequel (though there is enough potential for one) but I would welcome another Inception movie

I always found Mal interesting since she was never really a true character in the film (iirc, it's been years since I've watched). I'd be into watching something about her and Dom exploring that world and her getting lost in it.

I would’ve loved a prequel about how the dream tech got started. Nolan said both Arthur and Eames had military background. Would’ve been interesting to explore
