I agree, I think 3 is the worst age. Just evil, demonic little humans.

This is what I've heard. People say terrible twos but from actual parent friends I have, they say 3 is wayyyy worse

My son turned 3 in January and the tantrums are more tough to handle now than when he was 2

3 is the best age tho when you are an aunt/uncle lmao. cause you get the cute parts where they say funny things or are being silly. then return em to your sibling once they inevitably go into demon mode.

Mte I remember my nephew the most when he was 3 and would say the cutest little things and would always want to hold my hand

Now he’s 8 and doesn’t want to hold my hand anymore 🥺

im a faux aunt to my cousins kids and ive realized i prefer the 1-2 age. easy enough to chase down because they're not stable, easily entertained by a ribbon. they have a soon to be 2 year old and a 4 1/2 year old and i feel so much judgement from the 4 year old. im not cool enough for her and im not good enough at play pretend.

Agree - 3-4 is the age in which they are just starting to become independent human beings, but still haven't gotten to the point of developing any sense of reason or empathy. So it's like having tiny sociopaths living in your house. It's wild.

My friends call their 3 year old a threenager and it’s such an apt description.

My therapist said the way their brains are developing is literally similar (3 year olds and teenagers). They're establishing their own sense of being a person.

I babysat a friend's three year old the other day for like 2.5 hours and all she did was throw shit at me, scream, and ask me if I'm pregnant. My friend was like - omg don't feel bad her friend's mom is pregnant so she's been asking everyone if they're pregnant. Meanwhile I was wondering how soon is too soon to have a hysterectomy.

That's the age where I fell head over heels in love with my niece, which pretty much shows that I didn't have to live with her. Babies bore the fuck out of me, but ages 2-8 are 100% my gig, kids that age usually love me lol
