I remember seeing a theory that celebs only pretended to give their kids weird names, but actually gave them normal names in way to give them anonymity. Maybe this is the case here? Or not.
Even with normal names, these kids will have a not so normal life, and I guess the best we can hope for is that they aren’t too messed up.
My sister named one of her daughters Happy, but gave her a normal middle name that she could go by. Everyone she comes into contact with loves her name though, so it's only ever worked to her benefit.
Aaaw. That’s sweet. I knew a Rainbow, and her name was so perfect for her, she was just the lightest, happiest, sweetest person on the face of the earth.
In Anglo culture, it's much more common to give children (especially girls) flower/plant names than fruit names. But at least Apple is an actual word that is common and means something, unlike so many other celebrity baby names.
Even with normal names, these kids will have a not so normal life, and I guess the best we can hope for is that they aren’t too messed up.

Is it that bad in America ? In my country it's very common to give female children fruits name (equivalent of cherry, mandarine, apple, etc)
