The first poster for Disney+’s upcoming series “American Born Chinese,” based on the graphic novel of the same name by Gene Luen Yang, was unveiled at SXSW.
The series stars newly minted Oscar winners Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, and Ben Wang.
The series is directed by Lucy Liu and Destin Daniel Cretton.
Series synopsis (taken from Wikipedia):
Jin Wang, struggling with his school life and home life, meets the new foreign exchange student at his school, leading him to become involved in a battle between Gods of Chinese mythology.
