Fellow werewolf lovers, is this show worth it? As usual, I'm very starved for werewolf entertainment but I'm tired of watching/reading absolute garbage in hopes of finding something that's at least fun.

I haven't seen the finale yet, but so far it's hard to recommend. The werewolf you see looks good mostly, but there's no joy or humor about itself. There's no camp. The transformation sequences have been really underwhelming. No one is likeable except maybe the dad character, it's a bunch of asshole horny 'teenagers' and asshole cops.

I'll watch the final over the weekend, but I dunno if I'd watch another season.

I either watched the first three episodes or the first two episodes, I can't remember. They were not enjoyable. They didn't feature much in the way of pointy ears or any of the stuff I love as a werewolf fan. When I sign up for Paramount + again, for whatever reason that may be in the future, I'll probably watch the back log just to see the transformations and have it on as background noise, but I was severely underwhelmed.

I’d say skip it. This is not a fun show with moments of levity. It’s serious 99% of the time.

Depends on your age. I tried watching the pilot but those teenagers were driving me fucking insane. I cannot handle HS settings anymore which is a shame cuz i was addicted around that age haha

I'm 36 so my threshold for teenage bullshit is pretty much non-existent @ this point. Except for Pretty little liars, the satanic hold that shit has on me is STRONG.

it doesn't have a lot of "stupid" teenage bullshit in it. it doesn't really feel like a teen show because it is more dramatic/serious, it's a real slow build so there aren't a lot of twists and turns every other minute and if you're really looking for a lot of transformations or fight scenes like teen wolf, you won't find that here. it's more a mystery and thriller vibe than teen drama.
