Sarah Michelle Gellar celebrated Brendan Fraser's Oscar win on Instagram. Gellar and husband Freddie Prinze Jr are longtime friends of Fraser.
In November 2022 during an interview with Prinze, Fraser said, "You and Sarah Michelle hold a very special place in my heart. You were there for me when I needed it. I’ll never forget that."
