A year ago she said she was struggling with long covid too:

Swinton says her brain has also emptied in another scary way. She is still recovering from long Covid. For three weeks in August, she couldn’t get out of bed. “I was coughing like an old gentleman who smoked a pipe for 70 years, and had nasty vertigo. I got off relatively lightly, but the worst thing is how it affected my brain.

“I did two films that I had to learn a lot of text for. One was the Wes Anderson and he likes you to speak like a speeding train. I’m normally quite quick at studying, and picking stuff up, but this was like chewing a really big piece of gum. I couldn’t remember my lines.” Is she coping now? “More or less, but I’m still forgetting things. I have to work my brain.”

Don’t sets at least require proof of vaccination or is that over with?? But I’m pretty sure she’s done other projects in the past couple years.

It’s not a guarantee, but yes the vaccine does help you bounce back faster when you do catch Covid. As someone who’s got their boosters and still suffered from long Covid, it’s still crap. But at the same time, people who complain about masks but are vaccinated usually say so. Like “I’m vaccinated, that’s enough for me to take the risk.” The fact that she just stated she’s healthy after catching it so many times screams not vaccinated to me.

Long COVID+presumably unvaccinated+ she’s 62… must be nice to have enough money to not worry about inevitably becoming bedridden and unable to work due to long term systemic damage (which has been found in people who had mild cases and even in asymptomatic cases- once!) after repeat reinfections.

i fear this will be my boss. after three years of being a dick over concerns of covid, they finally got it. and then were surprised about how terrible they felt, and now are saying oh its long behind me.

cool, glad you are back to not giving a shit (they were also back in the office after a week without a mask so loved that for us)
