I don’t remember him, but to be on mtv in its infancy like that… you had to be a level of cool that has to be unmatched. I went to the article and he was a VP at mtv after he went off air and then went to be a big wig at a label. You can tell he truly loved music. It’s really reassuring to know that mtv was a passion project for so many at first.
