I just saw that Halle is presenting!! A LOT of people are thinking they’re gonna get her to present Best Actress because the assumption is for the last WOC to present to the next WOC (Michelle) to have that historical moment.

BUT it’s risky because if she reads Cate’s name then big controversy. 😬

my superstitious side is saying that because 1) the last time a woc won she beat the star of a todd field movie and 2) every time viola davis was nominated in leading actress she lost to a white woman getting her third, but this time she did not get nominated so maybe she broke the curse and a white woman will NOT get her third, michelle yeoh will prevail. LOL
