I think this one being more successful could work in Neve’s favor. They could up the budget for the next one as a result and pay her what she wants, plus bringing Sidney back into the fold would definitely turn it into more of an event.

That was my first thought. A very successful box office without it's main legacy player.....doesn't work in her favor.

yeah this is how Hollywood operates. They already think she "made a fuss" and the public rallying behind her really died down quickly. Haven't seen a single big name fan who has seen it thus far talk about the lack of Syd. Sounds like they thought she was inconsequential from the beginning and it kills me that the numbers may prove them right
