He has a great sense of humor in interviews too. It's funny she was all over DDL but not into Ralph, when I feel like they have similar vibes [though Ralph's never cared that much about method acting, lol]

Ralph wasn't a big name at that point. A year later he'd break out with Schindler's List.

that's what I came to say-DDL has never done a romcom to my knowledge and Shakespeare in Love was absolutely not dramatic

I think the closest~ thing he’s done to comedy was playing Cecil in A Room With A View cause he’s uppity and almost camp in it.
