Bassett says: “I just wanted to make sure she was okay because, you know, it’s a lot of attention. And she is A-Okay.” 👑
The number took on life on Twitter, bringing the BAFTAs to the attention of the masses, and became remixed on TikTok, a hit on Twitter, and probably on IG too.
DeBose acknowledged the situation with a post on Instagram on Saturday morning: “The internet is wild y’all! Appreciate all the love.” No word if there will be a follow up performance at the SAGs or Oscars, but fingers crossed.
