I don’t really think it’s that weird. Looks like two lobe piercings in each ear and snakebites; the biggest concern for me with snakebites is they can cause gum erosion and damage tooth enamel but from a societal standpoint, who cares. At least her and her daughter are “doing their thing” at the same time for her birthday.

I don't think the piercings are weird, but it's a lot all at one time, no? I do have the shittiest immune system so maybe I'm being dramatic.

100% this reason. That is a lot of trauma to the face all at once.

It looked like two in each lobe and snake bites; so just two to the face, and snake bites are usually done at the same time. If they were all facial or body piercings, I’d be more alarmed but the double lobe on each side is pretty easy. Her lip piercings are gonna need the most care to prevent infection.

Yeah, I definitely rethought my initial reaction when I went back and saw what the piercings were. I still feel like it's a bit much all in one sitting though. I'd probably do just the ears or just the snakebites if I was planning to get them all eventually.

Then again, I just debated taking on a 2 for 1 piercing deal next month because I'm getting a tattoo in a few days and it would be a lot of healing for me at once. I have autoimmune stuff so I don't think this is something most people have to worry about. (I did decide to go for it btw! I'll just have to make sure I take care of myself extra well)

I agree, I don’t think I’d want to do as much at once, either. And I can’t imagine how I’d be with my kid because I don’t have one lolol but it *is* a lot in one shot! I think doing them in two visits is a better idea.

Ugh, I wish someone had told my dumb ass about the tooth erosion. I got a labret piercing when I was maybe 19? And both of my front teeth got chipped af. I had one repaired for a different reason, but the other one is still chipped on the bottom (back of the tooth, at least, so it's not visible).
