he was also not a great actor imo, seemed to have one expression throughout. though to be fair, he was playing against some pretty fantastic actors so that may have highlighted the differences even more

that’s a good point, particularly aubrey and meghann were just so good (and theo is very good at playing an asshole lmao). evan probably would’ve brought more to the role though i’ve really only ever seen him in mare of easttown

had Evan played the role, I would have suspected he murdered ppl at the resort. He just gives off that vibe. Even in Mare of Easttown I thought he was guilty 😭

I thought he embodied the silicon valley persona well. Maybe I'm biased bc I work in silicon valley lol

The actor is so much better in Giri/Haji anyway

Yeah I don't know if it was an active acting choice, but the sort of mutedness he played the character worked well imo.
