She auditioned for the Carrie remake (2013) but didn’t get it :”(((( that would have been so good

After sucker punch she was on the audition list for all the big movies like the hunger games, Snow White and the huntsman, the girl with the dragon tattoo, etc but never booked any of them

So then she pivoted to indies and then tv like American gods and the affair

Apparently, they were looking for an actress with a "strong" personality for HG that would shine during press tours, so they took JLaw. It's a shame because Emily is great. I think her personality has maybe prevented her from getting roles, she's discreet and kinda private.
