take this with a grain of salt because I missed like the first 15 minutes lmfao but it’s definitely obviously reduced/nonexistent the rest of the movie - I don’t think Wasp was an entity before but it felt super obvious that they’re gunning for Cassie as a replacement

it's especially annoying because cassie is meant to be, what, 15? 16? and the original little girl who played her in the first two AM movies is now nearly 15. she was one of the highlights of the first movie, she easily could've been rehired.

I think she had the most to do in the first 15 min because Scott lists all her accomplishments and she helps bail Cassie out of jail.

my partner called it a while back that they’re setting the chess board up for some kind of young avengers vibe (i think back when love & thunder came out and ended with thor adopting a kid) and tbh it seems increasingly likely(/obvious?) that was right although afaik nothing’s been announced, so that might have been the plan all along although i’m sure lilly’s PR stuff could have skewed the process in this movie

tbh you could just say the "Wasp" in the title is Michelle Pfieffer since Janet actually exists in the comics and Michelle stole the show.

Also the majority of Evangeline's screentime was in the first 15mins lmfaoooo sis.
