HBO has released a new trailer flr ‘Love and Death’ starring Elizabeth Olsen.
Olsen plays Candy Montgomery who in real life [Spoiler (click to open)]was accused of murdering Betty Gore, the wife of her lover, after she hacked her to death with an axe. Gore’s baby was left alone in their crib for hours. Montgomery claimed self defense and was acquitted. Jesse Plemons is playing the man she had an affair with.
Elizabeth Olsen says she leapt at the chance to explore Candy’s complicated psychology-and to “figure out how to be on her side and the life that leads up to that moment.”
