I cannot trust any New Trek, and I am sorry to see the TNG cast trotted out for something that will, no doubt, be as bad as the other two seasons were.

So far it's only Riker and Dr. Crusher. We'll see how long before everyone else shows up (and by "we," I mean me).

Wait, did Jonathan Frakes do some acting in Picard? Or just directing? I don't follow the show so I had no idea he was involved.

He guest starred in two episodes during S1 and he has directed four episodes so far. He appeared in this week’s episode and is directing two episodes this season.

When the showed up in season 1 they were very happily still married with a kid. Making pizzas and shit. It was a bright spot in s1

Oh yeah, I’ve seen S1-2 and that was easily the best episode of S1. It’s why I’m upset about the idea of them throwing in marital problems for some unnecessary tension

That's bullshit, Riker and Troi went through too much crap with the writers trying to keep them apart.
