Amazon's upcoming Dead Ringers series, based on the 1988 David Cronenberg film of the same name, has set a release date of April 21st. Rachel Weisz stars as twin gynecologists Beverly and Elliot Mantle, who share everything and push the boundaries of medical ethics. The six episode series also stars Britne Oldford, Poppy Liu, Michael Chernus, Jennifer Ehle and Emily Meade.
Alice Birch (Normal People, Succession) serves as showrunner, with a directing team that consists of Sean Durkin, Karyn Kusama, Karena Evans and Lauren Wolkstein.
