Rita Ora was on The Drew Barrymore Show and revealed the moment she knew she and future husband Taika Waititi moved out of the friend zone into something more.
The two had been friends for six years, while Waititi was still married, when they reunited in Australia as she shot The Voice and he Thor: Love and Thunder in 2021.
"I mean, honestly, he put his hand on my back and then…low back. And that's when I knew, this is a different type of stroke, you know?" she told Barrymore. "And I was in. I mean honestly, it's a really cool dynamic and we both kind of do our own thing and I'm very happy right now."
The two wed in August of last year and leaked it to People Magazine but Ora is now confirming the nuptials to anyone who asks while she promotes her new single.
She is working on her third album. Though a release date has yet to be announced, the singer said her upcoming LP will be her way of responding to the rumors surrounding her love life.
