Unpopular opinion but Pitch Perfect 2 is one of my favorite movies of hers. I liked the music, humor, and story better than the first or third.

Pitch perfect had too much humor related to throwing up. Not really a fan of gross out humor.

I was JUST going to say this about pitch perfect. Idk what it’s deal was but it was weirdly obsessed with vomit.

Yeah projectile vomiting is one of my least favorite punchlines. So the fact that Pitch Perfect literally opens with it just put me in an annoyed headspace and the movie never recovered for me.

Same. The opening was just terrible for me and they kept referencing it. The second movie had none of that which is why I found it to be an improvement. I just don’t find fake vomit funny?

i will say the vomit is my least favorite part!!

As a Management major, PP2 won me over from the joke about ladders representing a social hierarchy that's counterproductive to what Aubrey was trying to do at the camp.

I liked the songs in PP1 better, but I've definitely watched PP2 way more times.
