Keanu Reeves granted temporary restraining order against alleged stalker

Keanu Reeves said that he has "suffered substantial distress since the stalking and harassment began" and asked that his longtime partner (artist Alexandra Grant) also be protected by the restraining order.
*According to court documents, the accused trespassed Keanu's property and attempted to make contact with him at least six times between November 2022 and January 2023.
*The first time he went into Keanu's property, he attempted to enter the actor's home but was unable get inside. He ended up falling asleep in the backyard until he was discovered and kicked off the property.
*The man allegedly returned 12 hours later and left a backpack containing a DNA kit and a "bizarre" note on Keanu's doorstep.
*The accused seems to think that he is related to Keanu (hence the DNA kit) and in old facebook posts said that his last name is Reeves. In one post, he said that he wanted to "sign over his rights" to Keanu so that the actor could control him. Keanu says that the man is a stranger to him and denies that they are related.
*In January, the man returned to Keanu's home several times and at one point scaled a fence in order to try to access his home.
*Keanu hired a private security company, which was able to identify him (spoiler alert: his last name is not Reeves)and discovered that the man has a 20 year long criminal history. Previous charges include assault and battery, larceny, and breaking and entering.
*The security company grew concerned upon learning this info and contacted the Los Angeles Police Department. The LAPD let them know that they are currently investigating the man for a separate criminal matter and they recommended that Keanu file for a restraining order.

Side note: Keanu's totally well adjusted stans do not seem worried that their fave is being stalked/harassed and instead are more upset by the fact that he referred to Alexandra as his partner and that he asked that she be protected as well.
