Wasn’t that Ben Winston’s daughter? He is a director who was responsible for the production of the telecast, I doubt he is a voting member.

there isn't a board for the general field categories (album of the year, song of the year, record of the year, best new artist) anymore. they got rid of them last year in response to the scandal with the weeknd and they decide it by popular vote now. there are still boards for some of the genres but i can't remember which.

in the past how the board rigged album of the year was they would pick who they wanted to win and then they would fill up the rest of the nomination slots with albums that were no threat to whichever album they wanted to win. it was really obvious the year that folklore won.

anyway since they got rid of the board for aoty no one did that for harry this year. i don't think it was directly rigged, i do think harry and his manager are extremely well connected in the industry and got a lot of votes, let's say, more based on those connections than merit.

Yeah harry isn't a nepo baby but his manager is lol I could see them getting to a lot of Grammy voters who don't care all that much and will vote however they are told to by friends or industry connections.
