HP fans will hold this to dear life to make themselves feel better about supporting this transphobic asshole. I honestly don't get paying for HP stuff in the year of 2023 unless you're one of those blissful ignorant people who go through life without paying attention to things that matter on a social sphere. Like, I know I'm a hypocrite on a fair share of things but this feels like something that isn't even hard to not support yet HP freaks are still showering this vile woman with money.

It's a lost cause for so many of them. I was a huge HP fan, too, but then it turns out I love my trans friends more than I love the franchise, so.

I mean, I was a BIG fan. Had a large HP tattoo on my arm and everything. Was so relieved to get that covered up a few years ago.

If what I’m seeing amongst my trans mutuals on Twitter is right, they really shouldn’t be clinging to it because the name itself is also some kind of clumsy dig. (I have no idea if that’s correct or not, but it would definitely track with the way JK names things in Potter - they’re all incredibly literal to the point of clunky in translation)

yeah, i've heard the char was designed to be more masculine looking than other lady characters, the first name is 'sir' as the first syllable and the second name is 'ryan'....i dont really see how that wasnt on purpose? if not, then just really poorly thought out...

And the deep voice. Like all of it stacked together is bad bad. Plus sirona Ryan also feels like a play on aryan
