Showtime exploring Trinity Killer spinoff from ‘Dexter’
Showtime is exploring a ‘DEXTER’ prequel spin-off focused on The Trinity Killer.

“The network has ordered an origin-story prequel to “Dexter,” a serial-killer drama that dates back to 2006. Showtime is also exploring separate spinoffs based on the back stories of compelling “Dexter” characters, including one known as the Trinity Killer.”
John Lithgow won an Emmy his portrayal of Arthur Mitchell AKA the Trinity Killer in 2010. Mitchell was a serial killer who crossed paths with Dexter and [Spoiler (click to open)]later murdered Dexter’s wife, Rita.
Showtime is also exploring spin-offs for characters from Billions and Yellowstone.
