tbf, they are still releasing new titles in the bd imprint, but those are fun little updates to the Astérix canon. These live-action movies bring nothing new to the table and are as hacky and outdated as Depardieu himself.

It’s awful. French critics savaged it and the public reactions are a mess. It made a boatload of money though.
