On a more serious note, I was disappointed at the lack of Gamora and Thanos in the last Avengers. I thought we’d see more of a struggle with Thanos and his decision to sacrifice his “daughter” and I was ready to feel kinda sad, but nope. I had to hold in my laughter as Tony Stark died instead.
The fact that she (or whatever time version of her) is apparently back in GotG 3...kinda takes a lot of the weight out of it for me? I'm down with the whole multiverse thing, but emotionally speaking it's like...well, what was the point. (Then again, the first 10 minutes of Infinity War completely erases the weight of everything that happened in Ragnarok, so 🙃🙃🙃)
yeah she's in it. and going by the sdcc trailer Peter is trying to get her back (even tho that version of her was never with him)? weird storyline there
I've been wondering if wiping the slate clean to past Gamora is how they'll justify including either of her other 'big' canon romances in the comics - she was with Adam Warlock for quite some time, and then had a relationship with Nova/Richard Rider that was pretty important to his much-loved late-00s solo run (aka almost certainly the run they'll be pulling from for his movie)
It's only post-MCU Guardians that she ever had a romantic relationship with Peter in the comics (and it's a poly relationship w/her, Star-Lord and Nova... which I assume we have no chance of ever seeing in the MCU both because Disney and because Chris Pratt) so I lowkey wondered if wanting to use either the Gamora/Adam or Gamora/Nova relationships, as they were very central "big" romances for the characters, contributed to their decision to essentially reset her to a Gamora who doesn't gaf about Peter Quill.
I kinda think when we find her, she'll already be w/Adam Warlock in GotG3.

I didn't know that so yeahhh that should rule it out if it's true, I was thinking they'd keep him more in line w/his comics characterization. Maybe Rich, then?
I'm dying at the inconsistencies of the last Avengers. They really could've just ignored issues but instead addressed random things making plot holes. I thought they couldn't bring back people because of the sacrifices for the stones? But time travel is fine. But time travel is not fine because it creates a new timeline. So what is the truth?
The movie literally insults Back to the Future's rules saying "it's bullshit" and then proceeds to have Tilda Swinton explain multiple timelines in the exact same way that Doc Brown does in Back to the Future: Part 2.

Endgame is the worst.

Steve's ending is bullshit and completely erases all his character development
I heavily dislike Tony but leaving his daughter alone didn't make sense to me either
lmao I hate Endgame so much the mlre I think about it, the more plotholes I find
