This would be unbelievable however, my primary care doctor told me it’s okay to take 1000mg of naproxen everyday for pain management.

And then gave me a 90 day supply

I can see her not knowing and definitely not reading that pamphlet

TF? I take that much during shark week, but make sure not to touch the stuff at ANY other time because I don't want my kidneys turning to stone.

It’s a 500mg pill taken twice a day.
I’ve noticed this trend with all of my prescription meds.
It really is disgusting. I’m wondering if docs have quotas to make with prescriptions?

Sometimes they get bonuses from the drug companies if they prescribe a certain amount per month. If I recall, that's what happened with Oxycontin.

She would absolutely have to read the pamphlet to inject herself with Ozempic. That pen is not very intuitive. This is what the instruction manual looks like. Ozempic is in nearly every sentence lol.

But again, I think based on her story, she was actually taking the generic semaglutide from a compounding pharmacy. Which is the same thing as Ozempic, but there is no shortage.

That pamphlet! So much information my head exploded.

I read the first page, skipped until I found some pictures. Looked at the pictures and did not understand.

I would rather watch a demonstration video on YouTube.

How can the generic one be available but the expensive one be out? That doesn’t make sense.

I really hate capitalism

LOL it's really not bad, I've seen a friend inject it. But you definitely would not look at the pen the first time and think "Sure sure, I just pull this tab, pop this cap on here and turn the dial six times ( ... )
