The Vow is captivating. I have watched both seasons multiple times and still get wrapped up in it. Heaven's Gate:Cult of cults is good too. Unveiled is good as well but kinda tough to get through bc it is about generations of families being groomed to be ok with child SA.

The Way Down and The Deep End were both great in a culty way. Also, the Vice series, The Devil You Know, both seasons are well done. The first one isn't necessarily about a cult, per say, but also kinda is. Except the person people are following/hanging with isn't charismatic or likeable or anything I've associated with cults.

get peacock and watch preaching evil, it's about warren jeffs but from the perspective of two of his wives who have both since left. one of them had two kids by him and the other one was basically his scribe and wrote down all his records and was with him the night he got arrested.

what really pissed me off about it was the one wife was that poor little girl's older sister and how she could sit there and defend the marriage and say that tape wasn't sexual at all and how it was her sister's ~dream~ to marry that old pervert and so how could it be against the law if she wanted it too.

like, i get that she spent her whole life in a cult but putting aside the fact that her sister was TWELVE, she probably realizes that admitting that sex was involved basically makes her an accomplice to her little sister's assault because she was there too.

It was truly sickening. Like even if your sister had a crush on him, she was a little girl! That poor girl is still in the FLDS from what I read but nobody knows where. They keep her in hiding.
