I'm not usually one to give the benefit of the doubt to checkmarks who cry "hacked!" when the account tweets gross shit or likes porn or something, ESPECIALLY not for this guy. But the tweets are so awful and random in relatively short order... it feels like this could actually be a hacker, and he does seem stupid enough to make his password, like, "Chainsmokers123!" or his bday lol. Either that or he had an alt account and forgot to switch.

But based on the time stamps he claimed his account was hacked and then those tweets followed… no? Plus that hacked tweet reads as sarcastic to me.

If the hacker didn't change the password, he could still be logged in or have reset the password. Not sure if Twitter asks you to confirm before changing the associated email.
