Jeffrey Dahmer victim’s mother, Shirley Hughes, suggests that Evan Peters’ #GoldenGlobes win is dangerous:

Peters’s hope that “good will come from the series”

Someone should ask him to be specific about what good could possibly come from the series.

I wish he'd be honest and just go "Yeah, my PR told me to say that. I legit have no clue."

Yeah. Does he think it will make people commit less crime, or something? How?

The only "good" I see from the series is that he benefits.

After seeing all those memes and how people just joke about the subject... yeah I wonder the same

The Netflix stakeholders are happy, he got a career boost, and Ryan Murphy lives to exploit another day.

I hate Ryan Murphy. Exploitative and just like... not talented? When they showed his reel for his ~lifetime achievement~ or whatever at the Golden Globes it was like, you have only made literal trash. Occasionally enjoyable trash, but trash nonetheless.

Exploitative, racist and deeply misogynistic under the guise of female empowerment in shows where women are consistently horrible to each other because it's fun and a slay~.

lol I was arguing with someone on Reddit about how the show was exploitative, and they were jumping through flaming hoops and doing Simone Biles somersaults to rationalize their watching it.

So many actors would genuinely look like fish out of the water if just one reporter chose to go 'surely, how so?' and ask them to elaborate on shit lol it's pretty blatant how coddled and protected celebs are.

He seems so annoyingly full of himself that he probably does believe his performance will somehow influence criminals in a good way.

I have to assume it's those true crime fans who claim they learn something from consuming this fictionalised crap.
