Hmm I wonder if Blackpink got upgraded cause Rihanna pulled out. I know folks loved their last performance at Coachella, but I heard such bad things from their recent tour so who knows.

Tickets are gonna be insane between the Benito stans and Blinks.

that's definitely the case i think. the guess is Calvin Harris will close the night after them

What bad things did you hear about BP's recent tour? I didn't hear anything but I did see videos and I am appalled that they are as big as they are. The choreography (and the effort they put in) is lacking compared to other groups.

That they super lacked energy, choreo never in sync, that they largely lipsynced which like...lots of kpop groups do but that it felt egregious at times. Idk, my Blink friends all seemed disappointed.

Ah, okay. I’ve seen mainly positive remarks from Blinks so that’s good to hear that some fans are noticing their less than enthused performance. The videos look pretty rough

it's particularly jarring, because none of these things were issues with their previous tour. like the one good thing about them was that they really sold those 7 songs they had in their repertoire at the time and they sang live quite a bit.

A friend of mine went to London and said it was shockingly bad?? I was surprised as Guardian hyped it up.

I feel like there’s so much hype for them but not much in terms of music or performances to back it up? And I like some of their songs.

Was there a reason Rihanna pulled out? I was hoping for some new music but she seems very disinterested in releasing anything.

I went to see them when I was in Barcelona and they were completely passable. Coachella ready? Definitely not, but not as bad as the start of their tour.
