i loved his movies, too. i can’t go into too much detail without giving people away, but basically, he used ‘last night in soho’ as an incredibly gross and condescending way to trash an ex (maybe the worst part is that he likely doesn’t even see it as trashing her since i got very backpatting vibes from that ending ☠️).

[vague spoilers for a terrible movie]obviously, the supernatural/more sensational parts aren’t reflective of reality lol, but the anya taylor joy character is a pretty cruel caricature of a woman he dated in secret, with the “lead” ~not like other girls character reflecting the type of woman/relationship he allows on the red carpet (ie kendrick, plus - allegedly - the one he co-wrote this movie with
