Ughh yes he was and so entitled too. He got on my nerves a lot for being such a secondary character and I’m dreading them giving him more screen time. I liked Tyler better tbh.
Ideally, Wednesday would have not had a love interest period. When I realized that was happening I was so bummed.
But if I had to choose Tyler was MILES better than Xavier. And tbh, I am a weak bitch for the opposites trope and I think its so cute when the normal/jock/whatever you wanna call it character is into the "weird" non-traditional character type. It's cute!
Also, I have watched this video far too many embarrassing times to count lmao
He was sweet, regardless of the fact that it was all "an act" or whatever. I was admittedly sus of him the whole time but it was still cute. And I mean, if Wednesday WAS gonna have a man, it is pretty appropriate that he'd be someone who could turn into a monster lol
I’m probably in the minority who think he genuinely liked her at least in the beginning lol.
I mean in The Addams Family Values she admits that she would want to scare a guy she liked to death and smiled when Joel started screaming after Debbie’s hand grabbed him out of the grave. I know that they are different iterations of Wednesday but at the core she is still the same type of character who enjoys torturing people so I find it hilarious that viewers being newly introduced to her think she’s some sweet little cinnamon roll. So I’m with you on that.
I preferred Tyler's character too but wish the actor wasn't eight years older than her. He's just a guy who was lucky to land a good gig but I'm side-eyeing the casting dept at Netflix for this and Paxton Hall-Yoshida playing opposite teenagers.
That was my main issue too. I have nothing against Hunter Doohan because I thought he played the character very well but the age difference made the kiss scene uncomfortable. He’s nearly 30 and he looks it. Didn’t help that the way they styled Jenna made her look even younger than she is.
And give us less Xavier because he’s annoying.
