January 4, 2023- Variety reports that some Warner Bros executives are open to the idea of keeping Ezra Miller as the Flash after 'The Flash' releases on 16th June 2023.
- Sources say that given that Miller has stayed out of trouble since beginning mental health treatment in the summer (wow), some executives are amenable to continuing with the actor after “The Flash” releases on June 16.
- “Aquaman 2” “Shazam!” “Blue Beetle” and Gunn’s “Peacemaker” series for HBO Max all could have a place at the table.
- Gunn and Peter Safran's vision for DC's future will not include Henry Cavill's Superman or Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman at all. *EDIT* James has tweeted this report about Wonder Woman is false*
- As mentioned in this post Dwayne Johnson directly pitched to CEO David Zaslav in April 2021, on a multiyear plan for Black Adam and a Henry Cavill led Superman, in which the two properties would interweave, to set up a Superman vs Black Adam showdown, sources say, but it did not go down well.
- Gunn and Safran's DC plans are reported to be as a "broad but not blanket reset".
Source 1 2interesting there's no uproar and no petition to remove ezra from dc projects huh..
