EDS groups don’t talk much about the link (bc ableism😤) but everyone I know with EDS IRL is also Autistic. I got my ASD diagnosis just months after my EDS one.

As soon as I was diagnosed I could trace it back through each generation, it was so obvious in hindsight. Lot of things we normalized in our family that um we’re not normal

There may not be direct causation, but there really does appear to be at least SOME correlation and I wish more people talked about it.

I don’t have anything but there also seems to be a super strong correlation with ADHD and PMDD, as well as ADHD and PCOS intrestingly enough.
No studies of course. Women’s health who cares?

It's funny, I was chatting with my mom the other day because she's a nurse and she was telling me that she wouldn't be surprised if in the next decade or so, we start to see ASD & ADHD being classified as autoimmune disorders or something more akin to that, just because of the huge correlations there appear to be between being on that spectrum and having chronic health issues.
