I was just devastated reading this. Sonya was such a gem and Epiphany was just... so much fun.

I want two things to happen...

1) Epiphany is made an honorary doctor when her MCAT results come back.
2) The next nurses ball has a big tribute to her. This one I will allow to not happen if they time the next nurses ball for the 60th, because, much as I love Epiphany, she was a tertiary character and the 60th should celebrate "bigger names."

Random thing I've never shared but your #2 makes me think you'd "get it"... when I passed my boards for my PhD (to become ABD), I tweeted something about how I'm getting so close to Lucy Coe someday calling ME "Doc" too and I tagged the actor. She tweeted back to let her know when I graduated. Fast forward to graduation day and I retweeted that with the comment that I just defended and it's official and she said "Congratulations, Doc!" and I'm not even gonna lie that I teared up.

That just makes me appreciate Lynn Herring even more. And I already appreciated the hell out of Lynn Herring. I realized when Lucy got capped that Lucy became one of "my" characters, because I said "NOT MY LUCY!!!"

The only thing that could make this experience/story even better is that YOU are the one to respond... we might be 2 of the last OGs left here and I have such fond memories of discussing GH storylines with you a zillion years ago! HIIIIII FRIEND!!!!

While we're still young enough to have them! (There aren't many of us who remember ALL the Carlys or the boy with the subway token on a chain or Stone or..... *unwraps a Werther's original*)

They didn’t even do a proper tribute to Stuart Damon/Alan, I doubt they’ll do anything proper for her.

That's true. I was texting my friend and pointed out that we NEVER got the Alan tribute episode that they ANNOUNCED after Stuart passed away.

But we did get that Sean episode... so I kind of hope they will. Sonya was really beloved by cast, including the all important Laura Wright, who said that she was so happy to have a scene with Sonya in her emmy submission because she liked working with Sonya a lot, so that might get them to consider it more.

We got that shitty Courtney tribute episode when we should’ve gotten Alan.
What a joke.

Do you mean the episode where Spencer went to Courtney's grave? It made sense, that's his mom,who he never met. I didn't view it as a Courtney tribute.

They did an entire episode based on Courtney's death when Stuart Damon had just died.

Must have blocked it out, because I'm totally drawing a blank.

Courtney was a blank-ass character so that tracks ;)
