I don't know if the games have a big enough following still that they'll try to drag a series of movies out of them but I intend to hate it no matter what because my nephew was extremely annoying about the series and I don't want to have to sit through even one of them.

matpat’s most recent fnaf theory video got over 3.5 million views and one of the other popular theorists just did a 12 hour livestream and raised over $20k so i would definitely say there’s some numbers somewhere. a LOT of kids are obsessed with it too. i teach 5th grade and have at least a dozen kids who theorize about it at lunch.

I wasn’t sure because to my (limited) knowledge the last game wasn’t very well received and I knew the creator bailed/was pushed out of the project. But then again, like… the fans are kids and they aren’t known for their discerning taste or broader brand knowledge.

I desperately hope most of these kids grow out of it before we end up with 6 of these fucking things.
