I don’t know what it is about them, but I just can’t get into any Amazon shows.

The Boys is the only one I've really liked thus far. *edit* I forgot The Expanse tho I haven't watched the new season yet.

I'm hoping Rings of Power will get better in future seasons as it has time to develop

Something subtle about their filters annoys me. Just like Netflix movies have a certain look. I just can’t

it all stems from the unnavigable UI

The only, and I mean ONLY, thing I sort of enjoy about Prime Video is that when you pause it will give you a list of actors in the scene. As someone who spends 90% of their tv watching time looking up actors, it saves me about 5 seconds.

The rest is trash.

Yup. Amazon has a lot of shows and movies that I like/could get into, but their UI is so awful that it puts me off from using it much.

I've only seen Fleabag and The Rings of Power in Amazon.
Fleabag was excellent and ROP... I hope it gets better.

The only one I've watched is The Boys. It's not without its problems but it's generally a lot of fun and well-made.

They're all insanely expensive (at least the ones I watched) but still have some of that cheep feeling to them. I missed several seasons of it by now, but Handmaid's Tale has that premium look, that expensive HBO feeling, where as Amazon and most of Netflix shows do not.
