From what I remember it was a very mixed bag, a lot of people thought it was trying to be too intelligent. I feel like that's a common response to horror movies though, like even if they aren't super serious films a lot of horror fantasy movies lose out on not being in your face jump scares

I didn't think it was bad, just really long and kinda pointless but i thought the music, sound, acting, and cinematography were great!

It's been on tons of year-end Top 10 lists, but very few awards? IDK it's weird, it feels, to me, like critics are compelled to laud Jordan Peele for everything, even though Nope was pretty average.
